This excerpt would be very much suitable to use if there was a reference to the minutes of this SGA meeting so the reader would be able to look at the transcript and actually see what was said by the representatives, and maybe even form an opinion of their own (opinion sections should be prompts for discussion, that's what makes them an opinion section, in my opinion) but no such reference was made. The answer they gave was a non-answer in my opinion, as they put aside the question of accountability to talk up their 'Resolute Man' program once more" is what I have a problem with.

I don't have an issue with how the author felt about it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that, but I don't like the fact that the daily news is allowing opinion pieces to be written about such delicate topics with very little credibility in terms of the references they use.
